Although I have a number of storylines ready to be developed into full
blown movie scripts, here are just a few of the most important ones.
'The Last of the Mohicans,' which can be shot on a relatively low
budget, is a powerful, compelling story of three aboriginals who survived
the harsh realities of a Residential School only to succumb later on to
the ravages of streetlife. 'Chimp,' is a story of political intrique
about the discovery of a rare strain of mutant chimpanzee DNA found in
the jungles of Nigeria. 'Fear No Man, Favor None,', is an intense
sci-fi thriller set on a rogue way station in hyper space. 'Oh Danny
Boy,' is set against the background of a mythical village in Scotland
leading up to the horrors of World War 1. 'Archie' and 'Barbie,' are
take offs of the iconic doll and comic strip character. 'The Cook's
Vacation,' and 'It was a Dark and Stormy Night,' are comedies which
will have you roaring with laughter, as will 'The Dumbrowskis.'
Cawker, former LA mover and shaker who worked on a number of major
Hollywood scripts, and who wrote, produced, and directed the cult
classic, 'Born to Lose,' says, "The Dumbrowksis," a comedy which was
written explicitly around the comic genius of Jim Carrey, and which
features an appearance by Oprah, explores themes which only he could
possibly grapple with. There is no doubt in my mind that it will be an
instant hit at the box office."
